Lowell, Arkansas is a progressive community located in Northwest Arkansas. The city has an estimated population of 9,544. Northwest Arkansas has an estimated population of over 500,000. Located in the center of the metropolitan region, Lowell is considered to be the hub of Northwest Arkansas. The City is accessible from I-49 and is within a 20-minute drive of the Walmart Home office, Tyson Corporate Headquarters and the University of Arkansas. Lowell is home to JB Hunt Transport and many of the region’s transportation terminals.

Using an index number of 100 as the national average, the Northwest Arkansas area is ranked well below the national average at approximately 90 points in reference to our cost of living. The medium maximum temperature in Lowell is 71˚ and the medium minimum temperature is 47˚. The City has three parks with facilities for softball, baseball, soccer and an ABA certified BMX track. Lowell also has walking trails and a bank shot basketball court. Lowell is in the Rogers School District where Lowell elementary students will move on to attend Rogers Jr. High and High Schools. Lowell was recently ranked the second safest city in the state, and the number one City for best places to live in Arkansas.

Lowell's average household income is $66,994, one of the highest of any city in Northwest Arkansas! There are 718 firms located within the City. With the diversity of higher education offered in Northwest Arkansas through post-secondary schools such as the University of Arkansas, Webster University, John Brown University, NWA Community College, Harding University, Bryan College, and NWA Technical Institute, the region provides a vast opportunity to recruit an educated workforce.
