Benton County District Court-Lowell Division

The following guidelines will be in place until further notice:

·        There will be a limited number of ten (10) people allowed in the court room at a time.  Social distancing must be maintained.

·        No one, other than the defendant, will be allowed in the court room.   Juvenile defendants may attend with one (1) parent.  Do not bring small children with you to court.

·        Upon entry, each person will be checked for temperature and required to answer health related questions.  If you have had a fever, cough, or any flu-like symptoms, or if you have traveled to a high risk area in the past fourteen (14) days, you will not be allowed in the court room.

·        Each person entering the court room is required to wear a face mask or covering.  Persons will not be allowed in the court room without a mask.

·        If your appearance is not mandatory, you are encouraged to contact the court, prior to your court date, to resolve your matter by phone.

Anyone appearing in Court under the age of 18 years of age must appear with parent/legal guardian.

Fines vary depending on the offense. A fine may be paid anytime by the Friday before the scheduled court date unless the citation is for a must-appear offense.

After hours payments can be dropped off in the drop box access located inside the Lowell Police Department Dispatch/Court lobby. Check or Money Order only, no cash. If you would like a receipt, please enclose a self addressed stamped envelope with payment. This also applies to mailed payments.
